An Overview of Our Commitment to Success

Utilizing a three-prong approach, Skhool Worcs seeks to assist students to obtain High School Efficiency (HSE), employment and acceptance into college or an institution of higher learning. Combining work-readiness training  will prove to be a perfect match for our students in efforts to further their personal/professional development. One-on-one staff-to-student mentoring will also be at the base of our work with all young men in efforts to encourage change behavior and provide a better foundation in which to promote motivation and innovation in reaching their personal and professional goals.

Skhool Worcs is a whole-year program that operates on 22-week intervals Monday – Friday from 12 pm – 8 pm (program will not be operating during the months of June and December). Our program will operate virtually for now until we have successfully navigated operating post-pandemic. It is our focus to provide both traditional and alternative education to young men of color who are considered to be at-risk; in hopes they will be more employable and persevering in today’s society.

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.

Education

By providing a pathway to earning high school equivalency, we will empower our students to seek basic and advance modes of education in efforts to gain scholastic freedom and use it to change the world.

Work-Readiness Training

We train and teach students transferable and career-specific skills they can use to market themselves to top employers in various career fields. The key to successful marketing of self is to make sure you have the best skills for the job. Not only will our student be the best, they we feel the best in any room they are in.

Mentorship

Using a one - on - one staff to student approach, we will ensure each student will have someone to walk alongside them in their personal & professional journey to self-efficiency. We believe in our students’ potential to go onward and upward towards greater achievements for them as well as their families, friends and communities.
